Well, this new moon in Leo is ablaze with discussions of Lionsgate and Sirius, our spiritual sun, rising. And, while yes, Sirius will rise around this time, it won’t actually happen until August 16th…well past the 8/8 Lionsgate portal window the entire world is currently ablaze with.
Lionsgate is set to be a portal of energy that was heightened and released when Sirius rises on this very date. However, unfortunately, Sirius won’t be rising on the 8th, rather the 16th as mentioned. Yet, don’t let this Astrological information dishearten you, as there have been accurate periods in Astrology where the Lionsgate portal is very much, not something to dismiss. It just doesn’t happen every single year. How could it? While Sirius is a fixed star, it does move…and is moving closer to our solar system.
While there are many that follow this Lionsgate portal every year on August 8th, it’s important to know where the energy is the result of numerology/hope; as opposed to astrological accuracies.
…referred me to the work of Ray Mardyks whom I vaguely remember from the 1990s. His book is unavailable but I did find this article from 1999 which talks about a portal opening just after August 8, 1998 when a lunar eclipse occurred at 15 Leo, followed by a solar eclipse on August 21 very near the fixed star Regulus, an important star in the Leo constellation. Mardyks also mentions that Edgar Cayce predicted that the Hall of Records under the Sphinx would be opened in 1998 (which sadly did not occur) and talks about the significance of the Hall of Records being guarded by (between the paws of) the Sphinx, hence the Lions Gate. – Lynn Hayes
